Where are you located?

I have a private hair salon studio in Syracuse, NY. I am located in Studio #4, Sola Salon Studios (next to Moe's), Marshalls Plaza, 3409 Erie Blvd East, Syracuse, NY. When you enter Sola Salon Studios, you will find my studio just inside the front doors to the right. I am located in Shine Studio #4. If I am still finishing with a client, please relax in the chairs outside of my space until my studio is cleaned and ready for you. You will find the restrooms at the end of the hall.

What payments do you accept?

I accept Debit/Credit Cards, Venmo and Cash

What services do you offer?

I specialize in low-maintenance, believable color, gray coverage, and multi-dimensional services (i.e. highlights and balayage.

What products do you use?

I mostly use Wella hair color. Wella is PPD and PTD free and has ammonia and ammonia free options. For shampoo and styling I use Loma Beauty. Loma is paraben, sodium chloride, gluten, soy and phthalate free, and have sulfate-free cleansing. Loma is also vegan friendly and NEVER tests on animals. I also use some Joico and MoroccanOil styling products.

How can I book an appointment

New clients should begin on the New Client page of stefaniesmith.net and established clients can find the booking link on the Loyal Client page. You will find everything you need to walk you through the steps of booking with me.

How long does a hair color appointment usually take?

This can vary greatly depending on the complexity of the service. However, most hair color appointments take between 2-4 hours.

What is balayage?

Balayage is a French coloring technique that involves hand painting highlights onto the hair to great a graduated, natural looking effect.

What does low-maintenance hair color mean?

Low maintenance hair color refers to color techniques designed to grow out naturally and require fewer touch-ups. This includes techniques like balayage, gray blending, color melting and choosing colors close to your natural shade.

How can I maintain my hair color at home?

Using professional color safe shampoo and conditioners, avoiding excessive heat styling, and keeping regular touch up appointments will keep your color looking fresh.

What safety measures are you taking due to COVID 19

I am happy to wear a mask if that makes you feel more comfortable. Masks are not required unless you are showing any signs of illness, even if it may not be COVID 19.
